Music, Words, and Yoga

Started in July of 2008, Surya Yoga is a Hawaii-based business designed to recruit and develop future teachers in the ancient discipline of Yoga.  Under the guidelines of the industry leader, Yoga Alliance, the standards and educational requirements are set for creating fine instructors with integrity and skill.  Founder and owner, Zachary Hitchcock is both a Yoga Alliance certified Registered Yoga Teacher(RYT) and  an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher(E-RYT).  He brings years of experience to the teachers he will be training.  He’s established himself as one of Hawaii’s finest Yoga teachers. Surya Yoga designs Teacher Trainings around the individual’s needs and timetables.   The completion of the trainings will have developed the student’s ability to perform in a multitude of classroom settings, as well as, cultivating an eduction in the Philosophy and History of Yoga, Anatomy, and Ethics.    The goal of Surya Yoga and Zachary Hitchcock is to produce the finest teachers associated with the Yoga Alliance 200 Hour Teacher Certification.
