It’s less than a mile away, and everythings okay. Kid, come on and give it a listen, don’t you know what you’re missin’, everything is all and so much, much, much more. (5:51) Words and music by Zachary Hitchcock
Tell me something, that i’ve already heard. Read me a story, and try not to leave out one word. Since I’ve left here I don’t know where to turn. The city’s so frightening, I don’t know where to turn. Tell me that you left me for this world. I can’t change change you, so let me take this turn. Shouting and screaming upstairs, I don’t know, since you’ve left here, I’ve got noone to learn. I guess I’ll burn about it. Tell me that you left me for this world. I can’t change you, so let me take this turn.

EVERYONE
(4:20) Words and Music by Zachary Hitchcock
A kiss. A kiss goodbye before I go ’cause I’m gone gonna try it on the open road, and I’m down, I can’t see what the future holds, and I’m there. For all I seethat we behold, ’cause it’s all beensaid and done so many times before. Everything is happenin’, and I can’t see the setting sun. Mist, as it rises just before the dawn. On my face as I greet the rising sun in this place where I rest and the morning comes. I’m aware in a time that’s just begun. ‘Cause it’s all been said and done so many times before. Everything is happening, and I can’t see the setting sun. Everyone is happy, but I can’t seem to find the fun ’cause it’s all been said and done. Home, the sounds of home as I greet the place where I grew up to see my need for space. Where others see, but can’t behold that I’ve grown up to be what I’ve been told ’cause it’s all been said and done so many times before. Everything is happening, and I can’t see the setting sun. Everyone is happy, but I can’t seem to find the fun ’cause it’s all been said and done.

EASY
Words and Music by Zachary Hitchcock
Here I standwith you. In my hand is a promise, to be near you for aneternity. Do you know that it’s always been easy to be near you, and have you right next to me. Did you say that you loved me? Did you say that you care? If you don’t really need me, reach out I will be there. Say it again! Climb a mountain, swim the stormiest sea just to have you, honey, right next to me. Did you know that, that it’s always been easy to be near you for an eternity. Did you say that you loved me? Did you say that you care? If you don’t really need me, reach out I will be there. Say it again!

YOU DON’T KNOW BLUES
(7:38) Words and Music by Zachary Hitchcock
Little love selin’ coffee down the road just a ways. Pretty baby, I’m struck by lightnin’. I’m in a daze. Did the lightnin’ strike you down there? Did the thunder clap catch you unawares? You don’t know me,and you don’t care. Baby, please, I’m just beggin’ to kiss your face. As the rain keeps fallin’ on my head, as you bring me sunshine in my bed, you don’t know me, and you don’t care. Baby, baby, I just want to take you home. I’m gonna love you, and keep you forever more. I love the way you walk, and the way you talk, the way you smile. All I’m askin’ for is a little time, time! This is what I’m tryin’ to find. Now you Know me, and now you care.

Take in the sound. Take it in easy. Takin’ my mind. Come on, come on, come on. This is the day. This is the right time. Come on, come on, come on. Simple as it seems, you let it take you. Come on let it help you to unwind. It’s our music. Pretty simple music, let it reach right up into your mind. Can’t you hear? Can’t you feel? Takin’ the sound. Take it in easy. Take in the time. SANDING
(3:28) Words and Music by Zachary Hitchcock
Been such a lonely Summer. The ghosts have all gone, and fled to a place where it’s warmer. They’re all in my head. I don’t even know what I’m sayin’. I wrote a message to you-I forgot that you’re dead. The reasons fly, and they’ve all gone by. I can’t get out of bed. I don’t even know if I’m stayin’. The sands are flyin’ away. The sand is fallin’. I don’t even know what I’m sayin. The sands are flyin’ away, and I can’t even see my reflection. The sand is fallin’ down.

Rock and Roll plays a very critical part in our culture, in our era and in our ability to describe what we see, hear and think. “Sanding” exemplifies who and what we are today - play this tune for the ears of someone 1,000 years in the future or go in a time machine and play it for someone 1,000 years ago. They will undoubtedly think the same thoughts while seeing and hearing completely different things, and thus expressing these very words in their era specific mode. There wasn’t “rock and roll” then, and there probably won’t be any in the future either - so enjoy gt350 because this is as good as it gets.
